"g0_garden_pride.jpg") GARDEN PRIDE Model- For an ATTRACTIVE finish and easy cladding, polythene is attached to an ALUMINIUM GROUND RAIL on all sides & across gable end hoops. GLASSHOUSE ALTERNATIVES - No Glass! - See below:  "g0_erin_greenhouse.jpg") ERIN GREENHOUSE- Made from BOX STEEL section rather than light aluminium/angle iron that other greenhouses are made from. SAFER THAN GLASS as Greenhouse is clad with polythene.  LIR GREENHOUSE - Manufactured from ALUMINIUM with SLIDING DOOR Facility and clad with polythene. -BUYER BEWARE- ARE YOU GETTING THE FULL PACKAGE? When comparing prices, ensure that you compare ‘Like for Like’! CHECK FOR THE FOLLOWING: • QUOTATION DETAILS -Check the DETAIL. Often the bare minimum is listed to make an item appear cheaper. For ex. Doors, Tapes are often excluded. Steel & Timber sizes not quoted. Doorstops, Ventilation options not included.COVERAGE -Check the AREA in SQ FT or SQ M: are you getting the same amount of area covered? Are you getting value for your money? •SHAPE:Will your structure have straight side or round sides? With round sides, there will be less side- and headroom used. • Structural STEEL SIZE and what standard of steel is used? • COMPLETE KIT OF PARTS: Ensure you are getting all the parts needed to complete your polytunnel: -How many Side/Roof Brace bars are included? -Are TAPES included? Are Anti-Hot-Spot-tape and Repair Tape in the quotation? -What 'POLYTHENE GAUGE' is the horticultural film? (Gauge is the thickness of polythene, 800G would generally have a longer UVI life than 720G. -What size TIMBER is used in gable ends, ground rails? Is it treated for longer life? • In larger width houses i.e. from 20ft, ensure that you get ‘FULL GABLE ENDS’ rather than ‘goalpost’ gable ends. You can hang 8ftx8ft doors from ‘Full’ gable ends. You would need to buy additional timber/steel with goalpost. |
